Ha! I found a feminine name for my fem!ezio. Her name is Esmeralda, nicknamed Ezzie.
I seem to developed a habit of giving my OCs names that belong to the opposite gender.
First I found that I’d given my only male OC a feminine name with Christen, but I eventually did find, after a lot of searching, a masculine variant, Cristen.
Now I find, after a little research, the name I’d given to my fem!Ezio, Ezra, is masculine. However, recently, Ezra has started to be used as a girl’s name, but its still pretty rare and the reaction to using it this way is generally negative.
So, should I say, ‘fuck it, she’s in an AU anyway, she’s keeping her male-oriented name.’
Or should I try to find a feminine name like Eva or Eliza?
I think tumblr just ate the ask I was sending because nothing happened when I clicked the ‘ask’ button and after a few more clicks it said ‘webpage not available’
Edit: found out it wasn’t entirely tumblr’s fault. My data connection refused to work for a while. Fixed itself now 20-30 minutes after I wanted to send that ask. -_-
As I was looking over one of my stories, I realized something. I might have screwed up the timeline and given Ezio future knowledge.
In the story, he says “the Assassins haven’t controlled Masyaf for almost 300 years.”
The first time he canonicaly says this is at the beginning of Revelations in 1511. My story takes place in 1501. The question is did he know this prior to 1511 and if so, when did he learn about it?
…Or should I even worry about it since its slightly AU. Ezio says it to Altair, who is there because of Apple shenanigans. Gah.
>writing plot bunnie with twin ocs, Gina & Christine. they are arguing over who is taller; ends with Gina being 1.25” taller.
>look at character sheet: Christine is the taller one.
»whole arugement is now moot
》Would like to rp with someone.
》》Too shy to ask someone on tumblr because I’m afraid I will be seen as bad at it/ooc.
- not sure who would accept ocs
- not sure how well I’d interact with canon characters due to headcanons about them
Edward and Connor jumped down from the tree, and ran inside followed by Aveline, and Desmond toddled after them. Altair collected their forgotten book bags and was about to walk in when a car pulled into the driveway. It took Altair a few seconds to recognize it as his his uncle’s since he rarely visited.
Altair, still holding his younger siblings’ backpacks, put his hands on his hips as his uncle, Haytham, got out of the car. “I’m surprised to see you here since you are usually so busy.”
"Yes, well," Haytham straightened his suit " I’m just checking on my nephews and niece. Taking care of six children can’t be easy for you."
"Actually, it’s not as hard as you think. Malik and Ezio can take care of themselves, and help me with our younger siblings. Most of my time is focused on Desmond. Now, if you’ll excuse me, having four young children unsupervised isn’t a good idea especially since they’re pretending to be pirates." Altair turned around and walked towards the door.
Haytham followed ” Unsupervised? You said Malik and Ezio help watch them. Where are they now?”
"At the mall. Ezio somehow convinced Malik to let him tag along when he went to pick up a book there." Altair raised a hand and looked back towards Haytham "And don’t worry, Ezio already knows what his punishment is when he gets back."
"Which is?" Haytham asked
"Helping the twins with their homework."
"How is that punishment?"
"For Ezio it is. He’d rather be on his game console than helping his twin siblings solve math problems." Altair opened the door and walked in followed by Haytham.
"Captain!" Connor, kneeling on the ottoman, called to his older brother "There’s a ship following us!"
Edward, standing on the recliner facing the back and holding the sides as if it were a ship’s wheel, turned around and brought his hands up to his eye holding an imaginary spyglass. “Aye, it’s the feared pirate hunter Ava! We can’t let her catch us!”
Aveline stood across the room one foot up on a small chair and Desmond sat in the middle of two more that Aveline had pushed together facing each other. She cackled, “You can’t outrun me! I’ve got the fastest ship on the ocean!”
"Should you be letting them do that?" Haytham asked refering to standing on chairs.
Edward standing on the chair was a bit out of line, but Altair didn’t want to spoil their fun by telling him to get down. “Let them have some fun before their brothers get back.”
Haytham was unimpressed “Very well.” He said reluctantly folding his arms behind his back.
"I’m catching up to you." Aveline taunted.
"We need more speed." Edward said to Connor.
Connor fiddled with some imaginary ropes then said, “We’re already going as fast as we can!”
Aveline laughed. “Got you,” she sang. She stepped off the chair and started creeping closer to her twin.
"Avie!" Desmond whined not liking being left behind.
"You stay there and get ready to shoot the cannons when I say so, ok?"
She came up behind Connor and wrapped her arms around him. “Ah! She’s got me! Help!” Connor cried.
Edward jumped off the chair and started towards the twins. “Let him go!”
"And if I don’t wanna?" Aveline asked
Edward tried to look intimidating. “I’ll make you.”
"I don’t think so." She looked back at Desmond, "Ok, shoot!"
Desmond giggled. “Boom, boom, boom!”
"Ah!" Edward cried and dramatically fell over. "You got me."
"I surrender!" Connor said quickly.
Aveline let go of her twin and went back to Desmond and, a bit awkwardly, picked him up. “We win!”
"Yay!" Desmond cheered.
Edward sat up and said, “We’ll get you next time.”
Aveline set her little brother down and walked over to her older brother. ” Or, you know, you could let me join you next time.”
"Please Eddie?" Connor asked
Edward sighed and crossed his arms. “Fine, but I’ve never heard of a girl pirate before.”
